Dear Member, You may remember when I wrote to you in March https://www.holmerpark.co.uk/news/view/holmer-s-headlines-march-2021-and-reopening-news/ that I mentioned that we were in the process of installing a new membership system. We’re delighted to be working with Matt and his team at Hedgehog Concept and over the next few weeks you will notice some changes as we complete the installation. Holmer Park has worked with the current membership system in some form since the club opened, therefore firstly, I must stress that this is a huge undertaking and will require your patience and understanding. As you would imagine we have planned extensively for this work and the new software has been trialled for many months at our sister club, The Shrewsbury Club. However there may be some teething problems in the early days. I hope you will understand and work with us over the next 2-3 weeks as we all adapt to the new system. There will be a new member area to book classes which will be much easier for us to work with when planning new and changes to timetables. Further down the line in the next few months, the new system will also enable you to be in complete control of your membership so you will be able to suspend your membership and change your details yourself but we will write to you later explaining this update. From now and for the next 10 days we will not be able to make any changes to your membership whilst we merge data from the old system to the new one. There will also be a period of time where you will not be able to make any changes to existing class bookings that you have made using the current member area but you can do that in club at reception. You will be emailed in the next few days asking you to reset your password. Please follow the instructions on that email and get in touch if you have any issues. When the change to the new member area has been made If you have saved/bookmarked/ created a shortcut to www.book.holmerpark.co.uk you will need to delete this and instead visit www.holmerpark.co.uk > click book classes and this will take you to the new member area. There may be some disruption at the gym door access control and at times we may ask you to manually sign in but I am sure you will be ok with that as we carry our this work. To enable you to be fully up to date we have created a dedicated area on our website https://www.holmerpark.co.uk/new-membership-system/. Once the system is live we will write any useful instructions on here so please, if you are having issues particularly when booking classes, check this link.
