Male users:
12/08/19 The Male changing Room will be open Wednesday 14th August
06/08/19 We are happy to announce that providing that there are no last minute problems the newly refurbished male changing room will be opening on Wednesday 14th August.
02/08/19 Work has progressed well and we are planning to open the newly refurbished male changing room during WC 12th August. A definite date will be confirmed on Tuesday 6th August.
26/07/19 On MONDAY 29th all the new furniture for the male changing rooms will be delivered. Due to the size of the delivery this will to be brought through the pool hall. We do ask for your patience and understanding during this and you can be sure we will do all we can to remain discreet and not to impact your visit.
25/07/19 Floor tiling is now complete and wall tiling and painting will be carried out over the weekend.
15/07/19 Work continues at a good pace however we have had to make some slight changes to the original plans due to some unforeseen issues. This may effect the timescale slightly. 04/07/19 Work in the male changing rooms is progressing at pace and demolition is going well.
01/07/19 The female changing room is now open.
26/06/19 We are extremely excited to announce that providing all continues to go well we will be opening the female changing room on Monday 1st July.
20/06/19 Progress is going well. Vanity units are in and 2nd fix electrics and plumbing will start on Monday. We have every intention of opening the female changing rooms at some point of WC 1st July. 18/06/19 The lockers are now in and the vanity units will be installed tomorrow. Progress is good.
14/06/19 Please note the lockers and vanity areas will be delivered on Monday and due to the size of them will need to be brought through the pool hall into the changing room. Therefore please be prepared for builders and equipment moving through the pool Hall from approx 10am-12 noon.
12/06/19 Painting has begun and tiling will be complete on Friday. Lockers and vanity units will be installed on Monday as we welcome Ridgeway FM on site full time for the remainder of the build in the female changing room.
09/06/19 Progress continues at a good pace. Painting starts on Monday 10th and tiling is going well. 2nd fix electrics/ plumbing will soon be starting.
05/06/19 Floor tiling is now complete. The frames for the lockers are also in place and wall tiling will now begin.
02/06/19 Tiling is going very well. The floor is almost complete and wall tiling will soon be starting. Our furniture manufacturer Ridgeway FM will be on site next week to start installing the plinths for the lockers and vanity areas.
29/05/19 Further electrical work was carried out today and tiling starts tomorrow.
28/05/19 The tile delivery is coming today so we have closed some parking temporarily.
23/05/19 Progress is going well and a latex floor screed will be laid tomorrow. 1st fix electrics and plumbing are both complete and tiling will start Wednesday of next week.
20/05/19 All going to plan. We have put some photos on the front desk so you can see our current progress.
17/05/19 The main demolition in the female changing room is almost complete and we are starting the "1st fix" work on Monday.
15/05/19 Progress continues at a good speed and the demolition work is almost complete. The "unknowns" that we had in the project have fallen in our favour so we expect to stick to our 4-6 week timescale for completion of the female changing room.
14/05/19 Major building work now begins as we welcome Martin, Rachel and the Team from E & P Developments, our main contractor for this project.
12:15 We currently have NO hot water to the female changing rooms. We anticipate this will be for the next hour approx. SC
13/05/19 Work to prepare the male changing room for females has begun 12/05/19 Male users- If you are just a pool user a signing in sheet will be in the pool hall for you to manually sign in or alternatively you are welcome to swipe your card at reception. If you are using the gym please ensure that you swipe your membership card at the reception desk at reception. You must sign in. SC
10/05/19 The temporary changing rooms are now complete and male members will be using them from Monday 13th May. On Monday female members will still be using the female changing rooms whilst we prepare the male changing rooms for use by females...yes there will be additional hairdryers! On Tuesday 14th May females will be using the male changing room and the building work will start. SC
09/05/19 The Portakabins have now been installed and we are currently constructing the covered walkway between the male temporary changing room and the pool hall and preparing the inside of them ready for use on Monday 13th May. We would like to advise all members to bring poolside footwear for each visit during the refurbishment works. We will provide slippers if anyone requires them. SC
11:15 We will need to turn the power off in the changing rooms and pool hall at approx 2pm today. SC
06/05/19 A reminder that our temporary changing arrangements start next Monday, the 13th of May. The 2 Portakabins will be delivered at 06:30am on Wednesday 8th May. Some Parking will be restricted and there may be temporary closures of the drive to allow for the delivery. We have organised an early delivery to reduce disruption. SC.
