Upcoming Maintenance work

01 Nov 2021

Dear member

A brief news article just to inform you about some essential maintenance work that will be carried out at the club over the next few weeks that will cause unavoidable disruption to your visit.

Firstly starting today, Monday 25th October, our partner at Three Counties Pools and Spas http://www.tubland.co.uk/ will be carrying out maintenance work on our swimming pool filters. This should cause very little disruption as the work is in our pool plant room however you will see contractors coming and going with materials.

On the 9th November, we are carrying out the same maintenance work on the spa pool filter. I am very sorry to say that both spa pools will be closed from Monday 8th at 21:15 and will reopen between 16:00-18:00 on Tuesday 9th November.

Our partner at PAT Test Hereford https://www.pattesthereford.co.uk/ will be onsite on 10th November to carry out essential electrical inspections. This does include the gym equipment so please be understanding if some equipment is off for a short period whilst the test is carried out.

On November 23rd Our partner MG Electrical will be on site to conduct electrical inspections in the pool hall and changing rooms. I am afraid this testing will result in intermittent disruption to power but again I hope you will understand that it is so important that we ensure these inspections are carried out for your safety.

You may have already seen that our partner PW Badham https://www.pwbadham.com/ is carrying out various work including painting and we have plans to upgrade other areas of the club including the club staff room. A small gesture to the team but they have worked so hard and an upgraded staff room is very much deserved.

As I reflect on the above I very much enjoy the fact that all four partners that we are working with are local Herefordshire businesses. Although Holmer Park is part of the Mosaic Group, the team at Mosaic HQ do encourage myself and my colleagues at other clubs to work with trusted local businesses, support their community and make a difference in their respected areas.

Again I am sorry for the disruption but hope you will understand.

Thank you for being part of the Holmer Park family.

Kind Regards
